Hot Water Heater Thermostat

The optimal temperature that your water heater should be set at is 120 degrees. Many households unknowingly have their's set closer to 140 degrees or higher.

In the Northern Kentucky area it is estimated that by turning down the thermostat just 10 degrees can cut 5% off of your monthly energy bill. That can be 5% for every 10 degree reduction.
