Materials: Same as drop-off (aluminum, newspaper, plastic, glass, cardboard, paper).
Hefty ReNew Program
- Collect plastic straws, utensils, bubble wrap, chip bags in orange Hefty ReNew bags.
- Purchase bags at grocery stores (~$10) or request a free starter kit via Rumpke.
- Place tied bags in curbside bins or drop-off sites.
Scrap Metal
- Location: Campbell County Road Department
- Items: Appliances, lawnmowers, scrap steel
- Note: Place refrigerators/freezers in designated areas for Freon removal.
Electronics
- Available at Cleanup Events and Campbell County Transportation Center.
- Items: Computers, monitors, printers (no TVs at most sites).
Vape Recycling
- For K–12 schools, collects vapes for safe disposal.
- Includes educational outreach on nicotine cessation.
Household Hazardous Waste
- Annual fall event for paints, batteries, cleaners, etc.

Christmas Trees and Holiday Lights
- Trees: Drop off at Pendery Park (Dec–Feb).
- Lights: Drop off at various locations (Dec 1–Feb 1).
