Kenton County Clean-Up Events
Kenton County has discontinued the popular spring and fall cleanups and replaced them with a voucher program for residents. The voucher program is in partnership with Bavarian Waste Landfill in Walton, Kentucky. The voucher program like the clean-ups are an opportunity for residents to dispose of unwanted trash, debris, and large items. The events are for residents only and not for businesses. Proof of residency may be required.

Guidelines and Restrictions
- Create Your Voucher: (link above) Create and print your voucher or have it ready to view on your mobile phone.
- What's permitted: Your voucher covers disposal of debris, bulk items, and garbage up to one (1) pickup truck or one (1) 8-foot trailer, with a pile height under 3 feet. Any excess cost is the user's responsibility.
- Prohibited Items: Bavarian Waste Landfill does not accept liquid waste, hazardous waste, or paint. See list below.
- Additional Charges: Mattresses and tires are not covered by the voucher but can be disposed of at Bavarian Waste Landfill for an extra fee.
- Original Vouchers Only: Photocopies will not be accepted.
- Usage Limit: 200 vouchers per month will be available on a first come, first serve basis. Vouchers will not be issued during months that have a clean-up event scheduled (spring and fall clean-up events). Limit 1 voucher per Kenton County residential address per month; not to exceed 10 per year.
- Expiration: Printed vouchers expire on the last day of the month they are requested.
